It is extremely important to understand that Lucifer’s brilliance was the very reason that he fell. “Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty; thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.” Ezekiel 28:13, 14, 17.

Every precious, costly stone was Lucifer’s covering. He was covered entirely with every precious gem. God had made him beautiful in appearance, for every precious stone covered his body and beautiful music came out of his being (vs.13). He was considered by God as perfect in beauty (vs.12c). He was allowed to walk up and down in the holy mountain of God and therefore the Glory of God’s Presence would have reflected off of Lucifer’s diamond, brilliant angelic shape and the brightness that reflected from the LIGHT of God’s Glory would have been magnificently beautiful and BRIGHT! God declared that his wisdom was corrupted by reason of his brightness and his beauty caused his heart to be lifted up in pride! (Ezek. 28:17) . Lucifer saw the brilliant light that came from his body and he thought that it was his own beauty and glory, but it was the Glory of God shining off of Lucifer. When light hits a diamond, it intensifies the beauty and magnificence of that light. I would imagine that the shape of the stones that the Lord had put in Lucifer’s body as his covering would have been a perfect shape and size; therefore it would have perfectly reflected and magnified the brightness of that LIGHT! In Ezekiel chapter 16 we read of God’s people who had been beautified by the very beauty of God,. But they prostituted their beauty with the world and with other lovers, because they did not know that it belonged to ANOTHER!


Ezek 16:2, “Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations”
8 when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord GOD, and thou becamest mine.
9 Then washed I thee with water; yea, I thoroughly washed away thy blood from thee, and I anointed thee with oil.
10 I clothed thee also with broidered work, and shod thee with badgers' skin, and I girded thee about with fine linen, and I covered thee with silk.
11 I decked thee also with ornaments, and I put bracelets upon thy hands, and a chain on thy neck.
12 And I put a jewel on thy forehead, and earrings in thine ears, and a beautiful crown upon thine head.
13 Thus wast thou decked with gold and silver; and thy raiment was of fine linen, and silk, and broidered work; thou didst eat fine flour, and honey, and oil: and thou wast exceeding beautiful, and thou didst prosper into a kingdom.
14 And thy renown went forth among the heathen for thy beauty: for it was perfect through my comeliness, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord GOD.
15 But thou didst trust in thine own beauty, and playedst the harlot because of thy renown, and pouredst out thy fornications on every one that passed by; his it was.
17 Thou hast also taken thy fair jewels of my gold and of my silver, which I had given thee, and madest to thyself images of men, and didst commit whoredom with them,
The Glory of God is coming to a people that are prepared and it will reveal the full splendor and majesty of God’s own being! There must be a prepared people as the vessel that can contain this full measure of Glory without thinking they are the source of it! Satan thought that he was the source of the Glory and splendor that shone off his body, but he was only a reflector!
2 Cor 3:18
18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.(NKJ)

In this scripture, we discover that as a believer beholds the Glory of the Lord, he reflects the same image or glory that is in the face of Jesus Christ. Romans 8 describes a people who will fully manifest the glory of the Son of God and this very splendor that is to be seen in their lives and faces must be acknowledged as the Glory of Another and not their own. The very thing that the Father wants to bestow on His children is the very thing that corrupted the heart of the devil. Lastly, kings shall come to the brightness and radiance of an end time remnant and therefore pride must be purged out of the heart of this lowly, holy remnant.

Isa 60:1-3
1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.

Beloved, will you be one of the ones that the Lord can entrust His magnificent glory in and through in the last days? The very radiant glory of God that He yearns to reveasl through His creation is the very thing that can destroy them if they do not understand that this beauty and radiant glory is the sole property and beauty of God. A beautiful gem has no beauty and brilliance in the dark! God always intended to reveal Himself through vessels, but starting with Lucifer, these vessels entered into the pride of thinking that the shining or light was their own and not the LIGHT of ANOTHER! There will be a remnant that will know that all of their glory and beauty is the GLORY and BEAUTY of God alone!
