Grace is free - Truth is not

The topic of this article has become increasingly heavy upon my heart. As I travel to many places I come in contact with two basic types of people everywhere I go. The first group of individuals seems to desire to know God on a deeper level, but instead of going forward into the depths of God’s BEING they seem to remain where they are or possibly go backwards. The next group of individuals seems to have the same desire to know God on a deeper level, and they are entering in more and more into the fullness of God.
Why do those who desire not enter in while others are entering in? I am reminded of one who definitely entered into the purpose and destiny of God for His life; his name was David. Acts 13:36a (AMP.)
“For David, after he had served God’s will and purpose and counsel in his own generation, fell asleep…”

David fulfilled the whole purpose of God and brought great pleasure to the heart of God while he lived here on earth. David said, “One thing have I desired, that will I seek after” Ps. 27:4a
Many have desires that are never fulfilled because there is a price to pay to enter in more fully into the spirit of God.
Rom. 14:7 say, “The Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost.”
Therefore, if I am going to experience the kingdom I must be entering more fully into the realm of the spirit. Jesus referred to the Spirit as THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH! Therefore, to enter into God I must enter more deeply into the Spirit of Truth. Grace is free, but truth is not. “Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction and understanding.” Prov. 23:23
One sees something that is very desirable in a clothing store, but the mere desire to have it is not going to enable one to attain it. There is a price tag that describes the cost to purchase it. Truth must be purchased! David paid a great price through misunderstandings of others, through rejections, through brokenness, through honesty and humility to obtain truth. The apostle John made a very strong statement to His spiritual children. He said that “His greatest joy in life was to hear that His children walked in truth.” 3 John 4
God desires truth in the innermost parts and even in the secret parts He will make us to know the truth.
Ps. 51: 6
On one occasion Jesus rejoiced that His Father would not reveal truth to some because of their pride. (Matt. 11:25, Luke 10:21)
There are many ways that one can buy the truth. The ultimate truth on the heart of God is “Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever” (Matt. 6:13 and many others.) The kingdom, the power, and the glory are all locked up in the Father’s hands and He will open His hand to the Son of his love. He will not share His glory with another and pride always makes me another. In other -words, instead of being just a part of the whole body of Christ and allowing the Father to bestow His kingdom, glory, and power to His Son’s body; pride demands to be noticed and seen for who it is in itself. Pride is the image of the beast that many will worship in that last day. But in this hour, God is raising up worshippers of the Lamb’s image. These worshippers are paying a price for every impartation of Truth that they receive. One of the greatest prices to pay for truth is to sacrifice my own pride, my own image, and my own reputation.
Other ways to buy the truth are to travel long distances to attend a meeting where there will be a strong manifestation of the Truth. More ways of buying the truth are sacrificing time, comfort, are money and other things we hold dear. Jesus said, "If we abide in the truth, then the truth will make us free. John 8:31, 32
When a believer abides in the truth they are confronted with many issues and beliefs that need to be faced and dealt with. In these last days, revelation has increased to its greatest measure since the beginning of time. If a person not only desires truth but also seek after it by paying the price for it as one seeks for hidden treasures, they will find the greatest treasure of God’s own heart.
Rev 3:17-18: “Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked. I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
In this hour, spiritual pride has caused many to say they are rich and in need of nothing, but even now the Lord is counseling many to buy from Him pure gold. Beloved, are we paying the price to buy the Truth and therefore enter into what is on the heart of God for this time and this hour? We must walk in the Truth to please the heart of God. Let us not come short of possessing our inheritance, but instead let us press on to know Him in the fullness of who He is: the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

The Urgent call to .....Humble

In 2 Chronicles 7:14 we read that when the judgment of God comes on an area because of their pride, for ALL evils come out of a heart that is proud and therefore pride is the root cause of all sins and wickedness and so therefore when God judges a people and the Word is CLEAR that HE will forever be the JUST JUDGE of ALL the EARTH and PRIDE WILL ALWAYS be under the hand of GOD'S JUSTICE: then if His people who are called by His name will HUMBLE themselves and pray and seek his face and then turn from their wicked ways (that pride has caused). Then he will hear from heaven, forgive their sin and HEAL their land. BELOVED, do we want to see our land healed?? Then we must do the very first requirement that God is asking: we must humble ourselves under his mighty hand! The main reason that there is so much judgment in our world today is that the church has NOT humbled!! This is a loving rebuke and I include myself- it is TIME to HUMBLE ourselves!! If I have wronged my spouse- I must humble. If I have wronged my parents- Ii must humble. if I have wronged anyone, then I must humble!! beloved, let us humble before our holy and pure God!
