When I lived up north I loved the daffodils. We would have a snow covered ground and these happy yellow blooms would be popping through. The fascinating thing is daffodils take forethought. They are bulbs that need time and cold in order to bloom. Seeds you can see grow in a few weeks but bulbs almost need to be forgotten. Raising children are similar to raising daffodils. Daily we are planting seeds and bulbs in their lives. Some things we will see grow quickly but others may take years to peep out. Sometimes it may be through the snow. That is why Bible memorization is so important.
